b'Preliminary applications and specific proceduresduring the hearing before the Tribunal 25Prior to the hearing, parties may make specific requests to the Tribunal. This may include, for example, a request to change the date of the hearing. In principle, such requests must be made in writing within the time limits set out in the Tribunal Rules.7.1Request for extension of time The Tribunal Rules impose a number of time limits on the parties. The parties may applyto the Tribunal in writing for an extension of any of these time limits. The request must include the following information:ythe case number; ythe parties involved; ythe deadline for which an extension of time is required; ythe reason(s) for the request for an extension of time; ywhether the Tribunal has previously granted an extension in the matter; andythe length of extension requested.When a request for an extension of time is submitted, the parties present their arguments regarding the request.
